Opportunity

A large medical center in San Antonio hired a new Cardiologist for an existing medical practice and wanted to quickly and effectively drive appropriate business to the physician.

Solution

The hospital marketing department used an optimized, pre-built query within VP Activate to find consumers (current patients and non-patients) with a high cardiology risk within a 10-mile radius of the medical practice. The hospital leveraged Personify Health’s predictive modeling and broad data sets, including co-morbidities, self-reported conditions, HRA results, predictive models, lifestyle and behavioral variables, and demographic patterns to help reach their target audience.

The model also included an optimize payer logic to pull only known profitable patients or likely profitable prospects. The final count was 10,029 consumer households. The hospital used the integrated communication tools within VP Activate to create and deliver a 6”x9” postcard to the targets where the call-to-action was to schedule an appointment via phone or online.
