As twilight descended last night, the celebratory spirit continued with a Mad Hatter-themed Welcome Party. Attendees, donned in whimsical florals, reveled in music and community, capturing the essence of our journey—lighting the path together.
The second day of our Thrive Summit in Orlando, Florida, was nothing short of magical. Under the theme, “Light the Path,” attendees were treated to a series of enlightening sessions that painted a clear picture of the future of health solutions, management, and engagement.
Curiouser and curiouser! Breakout sessions delivered actionable insights
The day began with breakout sessions led by experts and peers, tailored to specific interests and sectors within healthcare, providing strategic advice and takeaways:
- Northwell Health, one of the top 100 healthiest organizations in the U.S., shared insights on fostering a culture of wellbeing and driving benefits utilization through effective programs and strong leadership support.
- TriHealth and OneSky, alongside Personify’s CFO Scott Charles, explored healthcare’s impact on the C-suite. They provided valuable insights into demonstrating ROI and VOI, which are crucial for securing buy-in from top executives.
- Thrive award-winner CDPHP discussed the importance of a wellbeing-centric model and strategies for driving member trust and engagement. Attendees heard valuable tips on improving care quality, reducing costs, and boosting participation.
- A panel of consultants from AON, Willis Towers Watson, and Brown & Brown provided insights on the value of wellbeing initiatives, emphasizing the pivotal role of navigation and equipping attendees with strategies for measuring outcomes and value.
- Gold sponsor Cleo highlighted the role of data-driven insights in enhancing global workforce family wellbeing. Their presentation emphasized how employers can enhance workforce productivity and drive cost-savings through elements like integrated tailored coaching and burnout risk assessments.

Main stage: Where the seemingly impossible becomes possible
Today’s full slate of main stage presentations provided a broad spectrum of insights, starting with an in-depth exploration of healthcare market trends by experts from Business Group on Health, Morgan Health, and McKinsey, moderated by Personify Executive Chairman Chris Michalak. The panel agreed that GLP-1s remain a significant topic among employers and foresee auto-immune treatment joining the discussion. They also are tightly focused on women’s health, particularly menopause/non-maternal care, as well as longevity, and health consumerism.
New York Times best-selling author Jon Acuff wowed the audience with strategies for navigating life’s complexities with agility. With humor and the imagination of the White Rabbit, he inspired attendees on achieving their goals with purpose and passion. He advised that great leaders do three things to drive success: 1) Retire, 2) Replace, 3) Repeat. Jon shared many great tips and quotes, but one that we’ll call out is regarding negative self-talk, “If you wouldn’t let a friend talk to you that way, don’t talk to yourself that way.”
Victor Montalvo, breakdancer and Paris games medalist, energized the crowd with his insights about mindset and resilience, accompanied by awe-inspiring dance moves. He revealed that he is like a scientist, always experimenting. The audience was surely motivated to strive for their own personal gold medal!
Personify Chief Product Officer Jeff Yoshimura took attendees on a journey through a personalized user experience that integrates health, innovation, and cost-efficient outcomes. He was joined onstage by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jeff Jacques and Dr. Jitana Bagomolny, VP of Care Management Solutions, for a conversation around Personify’s clinical support offerings and how employers can best support their populations.
Aaryn Pure and Claudia Canales from Hinge Health (our Diamond sponsor) then joined Dr. Jeff Jacques to discuss the value of a unified care journey, advocating for a seamless integration between providers and digital health solutions. Claudia and Aaryn report that though customer conversations, digital health solutions are moving from a “Will this work for my population?” mindset to “This is an essential offering that helps attract and retain talent, and helps my organization manage costs.” Afterwards, Claudia’s much-appreciated stretch break made everyone say “ahhh!”
The day concluded with electrifying performances and a truly authentic Q&A session from Flavor Flav, who brought incredible energy and a powerful message of equality and having a strong mental outlook. Flav was candid about his struggles with sobriety, and the efforts it took – and still takes – to get clean. Regarding his famous oversized clock necklace, Flav explained that he believes “time is the most important element we have in our life. [We should] use each minute to its best value.” He also showed great appreciation for others who contributed to his success and continue to support him today – it’s no wonder he extends support to others when he can, like the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team!
An ICONic day to remember
Today’s full program was so exhilarating! Orlando attendees will move to ICON Park this evening to enjoy the attractions, unwind with peers, and forge connections that extend beyond the summit.
As we reflect on an inspiring Day 2, the path forward is clear: through innovation, engagement, and strategic execution, we can light the way to better outcomes and transform health experiences for all. Tomorrow promises even more inspiration as we cap off our Thrive 2025 experience. See you then!
