Who are you?

 

Technical Feature Owners are the "product owners" for internally facing tools and functions that support the business. They work closely with analytics, account management, operations, and sales team members to understand and refine business requests and turn those requests into technical requirements. They plan and prioritize agile sprint work for their teams. They are experts in the functionality and features of the tools that they support and can estimate the difficulty of incoming requests.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Review, understand, estimate the complexity of, and communicate incoming questions regarding the tools that they support
  • Review and refine ambiguous business requests and produce technical requirement documents by using communication skills and collaborating with requesters
  • Prioritization of work for their teams using an understanding of business needs and an understanding of the technical complexities involved in meeting those needs.
  • Participation in sprint refinement, planning, and kick-off to help estimate stories and clarify requirements.

What you bring to the Personify Health Team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis or project management
  • SW certification or degree in IT related field
  • Solid grasp of data structures and terms, such as tables, columns, queries, etc...
  • High-level understanding of web data structures such as JSON
  • Translating unclear and ambiguous non-technical requests into technical definitions and requirements.
  • Presentation skills - able to present functionalities of the tools that they support as well as able to present timelines and priorities
  • Curiosity and a commitment to learning new skills and business processes.
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and other analysis tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy
  • Proficient in using agile project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, Microsoft Project, etc.
