Who are you?

 

Software Engineer I performs activities independently and under the supervision of a mentor. They will investigate, troubleshoot, and work on various types of tasks and enhancements as they learn the ins and outs of the platform, our tech stack, the tools we use, and our passion to learn more. Software Engineers independently work with our clients, integrating, implementing, and troubleshooting requests. They attend technical kick-offs and provide the necessary information and support to our prospective clients. Since our team is working on client-facing requests, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Single Sign-On setups, meetings, and live calls with existing and prospective partners and clients
  • Support both new customer implementations, as well as delivery of any required updates for existing customers
  • Coordinating with other engineers and team members to ensure everything is completed on schedule
  • Identify potential issues, troubleshoot, and integrate possible solutions
  • Team’s technical escalation resource
  • Daily monitoring, reporting, and maintaining the health and availability of business-critical systems
  • Ensure everything is properly documented in up-to-date Knowledge Base Articles
  • Attend daily team meetings
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the Personify Health Team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in technical roles
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/XML/JSON syntax
  • Basic knowledge of Javascript
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Basic understanding of API (RestAPI)
  • Single Sign-On (SAML/OAuth)
  • Knowledge of tools we use in our day-to-day work is highly desirable:
  • Agile Methodologies and Agile tools:
  • Jira cloud, Confluence
  • Knowledge of IAM solutions (identity access management solutions such as Keycloak, Okta, Ping Identity, Azure, ADFS, etc.)
  • New Relic, Kibana, OpenSearch

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (strong client facing communication skills (English) are required)
  • Technically proficient - high level of skill or knowledge in relation to computers, software applications, operating systems, network systems, etc.
