Who are you?

 

The Claims Processor works both independently and in conjunction with claim supervisor to adjudicate claims, respond to provider or client inquiries in an accurate and courteous manner.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Process payment or denial of all types of medical claims, professional and hospital, using the designated claims processing system in the designated timeframe.
  • Respond to customer or provider inquiries regarding claims status.
  • Research/request information regarding payment of claims.
  • Print letters, (Denial, Additional information etc.)
  • Perform various duties assigned by management.

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 – 5 years prior claims processing experience.
  • CPC certification preferred.
  • Experience with ICD-9, CPT/HCPCS coding, medical terminology, HCFA 1500s and UB92s.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate data-entry skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Work, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $21.50 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
